Personal Motto: Do the right thing, even when no one is watching.

For Aulia, a career in Quantity Surveying was a natural fit. With a passion for numbers, problem-solving, and construction projects, she found a profession that combines technical expertise with commercial management while contributing to the successful delivery of meaningful projects.

Having been with DK for over four years, Aulia plays an important role in supporting projects through quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and tender documentation. Her attention to detail and commercial awareness help provide the strong foundations needed for successful project delivery.

Aulia’s journey into the industry was driven by her interest in analytical thinking and the built environment. Quantity Surveying offered the perfect opportunity to combine technical knowledge with practical problem-solving, allowing her to be involved in projects that create a lasting impact.

One of her proudest achievements since joining DK has been her involvement in the Zoo projects. Being part of these projects has been both rewarding and memorable, reinforcing her passion for the construction industry and the role she plays in helping projects come to life.

When asked to describe the culture at DK, Aulia chooses three words: family-like, supportive, and committed. These qualities have helped create an environment where teamwork, trust, and collaboration are valued, making it a place where people can continue to grow and succeed together.

Even with several years of experience under her belt, Aulia remains committed to continuous learning. She is currently working on strengthening her project management skills, recognising the importance of combining Quantity Surveying expertise with broader project leadership capabilities.

Outside of work, Aulia enjoys spending quality time with family, exploring new food spots, and travelling whenever she has the opportunity. An avid reader, she enjoys both fiction and non-fiction books and can often be found planning future family trips or searching for hidden food gems to add to her growing list of recommendations.

When it is time to unwind after a busy week, Aulia keeps things simple, enjoying coffee with family and taking the opportunity to rest and recharge. Given the chance to travel anywhere in the world, she would choose Makkah and Madinah, where she hopes to perform Umrah and spend time in the two holy cities.

At home, she is also fond of Bochi, the family cat who lives with her mother but remains a much-loved part of the family.

When asked about her ultimate superpower, Aulia’s answer reflects her sense of humour:

“Transforming stress into dinner.”

One piece of advice that has stayed with her throughout both her personal and professional life is:

“Do your best and leave the rest to God.”

It is a philosophy that reflects her grounded outlook, dedication, and resilience. Alongside her personal motto, it guides the way she approaches her work, relationships, and everyday challenges.
